Derek Alan Sparzak, 51, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Born on September 3, 1973, he was a proud U.S. Navy veteran.

Derek is survived by his loving wife, Lillian S. Ortiz-Sparzak; his daughters, Tiia C. Sparzak-Old and her husband, Erath Old, and Kara N. Sparzak-Pun and her husband, Jahq Pun; his son, Derek E. Sparzak, and his girlfriend, Makayla Ryan; and his cherished granddaughter, Lilah A. Old. He also leaves behind his parents, Chester “Chet” Sparzak and Barbara Sparzak; his sisters, Christine Koontz and her husband, Stephen, and Ginger Vasquez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he considered family. Derek was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Sparzak.
